Abstract |
This is the sixth expanded printed edition of The Researchers Guide to British Film and Television Collections appearing under a new title. It lists 547 collections, these entries describe 118 core radio collections, 319 core moving image collections and 110 core documentation collections. Each entry gives a comprehensive description of the collection and full contact details (including e-mail and website addresses where available), access information, viewing facilities, copyright status of material held, catalogue systems, documentation, and other relevant details. The publication is enhanced by articles and appendixes relevant to film and television research and by a directory of film and television researchers. The RGO, is a unique resource for researchers in academia and industry. It is also of use to producers and policymakers wishing to influence the development of moving image, radio and related multimedia research in the UK. |
